In 1923, our founder,Sadakichi Kitamura started a cotton sheet
wholesaler in Chojamachi,Nagoya. In 1971, he built the main factory,
and started to produce sleep products in 1960.
KITAMURA MAKURA has cultivated
the eye for selecting the fabric
and technique to sew them beautifully.
The factory is filled with the rattle of sewing machines operated by
our 40 years experienced craftsmen and his successors.

The refined and precise sewing technique
completes line of beauty.
The curvy contour keeps the pillow even and wrinkle-free as it gives softness
with proper support.The stitches at the closures are sewn very firmly multiple times to
make it easy to open and durable. The preciseness is the reason why KITAMURA MAKURA
